Mepap Training

  • The Program for Activity Professionals (MEPAP) at the Arapahoe Community College.
  • This is the only class offered in Colorado and is the quickest way to get qualified per tag 249 requirements.
  • It is great for anyone even if they are already qualified or are in adult day programming or assisted living for solid activity training.
  • By declaring a degree, you may also be eligible for financial aid.

She has consulted Activity Directors for 4 years and is passionate about advancing the profession of activities in the State of Colorado. She chairs the Activities Council for CHCA and sits on the State Executive Board for CAPA.
  • Qualified guest speakers assist with pertinent topics in their field of expertise.
  • The course is taught in a “seminar” format. Three days at a time once a month for 4 months, August-November.

  • Completion of this course can be used for certification or rectification with the National Certification Council for Activity Professionals http://www.nccap.org .
  • Completion of this course also qualifies an individual according to the OBRA Regulations for those employed or wanting to work in a skilled nursing facility.
